VERDICT: Porfin landed a similar event in comfortable fashion at Yarmouth last Thursday and this looks an excellent opportunity to repeat the dose, especially with Cononor Planas taking off a handy 3lb. Essme, who has found some consistency in recent starts, is a player judged on her C&D third last time out. The application of first-time cheekpieces could eke out a little extra too and she is preferred to Gilt Edge for the silver medal.
