VERDICT: Blue Collar Lad shaped with more promise than the bare result suggests when fourth at Wolverhampton last week, staying on strongly before meeting trouble in running close home. Eased 1lb, and granted a clear passage, he may be tough to stop this time around. The step back up to 6f can help Sub Thirteen and, off just 2lb higher than his last winning mark, he commands respect. Rusheen Boy also enters calculations on the strength of his all-weather form during the winter.
