VERDICT: Great Samourai accounted for his nearest rival by over six lengths in this grade at Huntingdon last month and he is only 7lb higher for that triumph. The seven-year-old could have similar conditions to contend with and he looks the one to beat again. The main danger might be Stormin Crossgales, who was given a fine ride when scoring by a neck, also at Huntingdon, and can have a say off a 5lb higher rating. Gower Prince is another to consider.
