VERDICT: There should be more to come from handicap debutant Rosa Applause, who bids for a hat-trick having completed her double at Lingfield. Jimmy Speaking, who landed a double of his own at Ascot last month, merits respect in the first-time cheekpieces, although Chris Dwyer's gelding will need to be sharp leaving the stalls if he's to race prominently. Southwell winner Blue Day was caught too far back at Windsor nine days ago but this should play out more favourably and he gets the vote.
