VERDICT: Monks Mead was winning on fast ground here last summer, and a recent second at Bath points to a big run in this. Mark Usher's grey finished in front of Mbappe at Bath, while Mister Mojito has an 8lb rise to contend with having won nicely at Yarmouth in April. Just Rita remains a maiden, but Palazzo Persico has won twice on the all-weather and it would be no surprise to see a better effort from him.
