VERDICT: Although he's carrying a winners' penalty, Grey Charger is very difficult to oppose here after his close second to the very smart Devil's Point last time, and a repeat of that effort should suffice in this company. None of those with previous form look good enough to put it up to William Haggas' colt, so the newcomer Bayadere rates as the main danger, but Edna E Mode left something to work on when fourth on her debut at Kempton last month, so she could go well if building on that effort.
