VERDICT: It seems an interesting move for Kintail to be running at this time of the year, having not run up to scratch on his handicap bow at Lingfield in January behind Inthewaterside. Nicky Henderson's gelding may well have been inconvenienced by softer ground and promises to be suited by a step up in distance. Edison Kent bounced back when runner-up at Huntingdon on his return from a break. The eight-year-old is capable of being in the mix, with Fair Frontieres and Wavering Down completing the shortlist.
