VERDICT: An open event in which only a tentative vote can go to Grace Angel, who bounced back to form with a good second at Windsor last month. Darryll Holland's filly is now 6lb lower than when winning over C&D in June of last year, so she ought to hold every chance if building on that most recent effort. Paddy's Day (second) finished half a length in front of Match Play (third) at Ayr 15 days ago and both look set to be on the premises once again, while others to note include Astapor and Thunder Star.
