VERDICT: So Logical made amends for an odds-on defeat on her comeback when getting off the mark in no uncertain terms at Newcastle, and she took another big step forward when making a successful handicap bow at Newmarket. A 3lb rise may be lenient and she is preferred to Rascal Recknell, who also atoned for a costly second when landing the odds in a Lingfield maiden. Star Pupil displayed a good attitude to break through at Wolverhampton, while Sunfall is surely better than she showed on her own handicap debut.
