VERDICT: Laoisman's winning run finally came to an end when narrowly denied last time out at Windsor, but the way he travelled through that race suggested dropping back to 5f should not be of any inconvenience. Sebastian Wood's charge may be able to make it four wins from five starts at the main expense of The Thames Boatman and Ancient Times, who has returned to a bit of form of late but is winless since June 2022.
