VERDICT: Nostromo ran an eye-catching race when staying on well to finish fourth after becoming outpaced over 1m2f here last month and connections waste no time with stepping him up in trip. Eased 1lb, Roger Teal's relatively unexposed handicapper can open his account here. Damoiseau has hit the woodwork on his last couple of starts and it would be no surprise if his turn in the winner's enclosure is just around the corner. Total Lockdown has the ability to feature in a race of this nature, but his exuberance in the early part of the race can often leave him wanting at the finish.
