VERDICT: Wintercrack was far from disgraced when finishing second to a progressive sort at Ripon in April and, though respected off an unchanged mark, a chance can be taken on Roxanne. Too keen to do herself justice over 1m4f at Doncaster last time, having made an extremely promising stable bow at Chelmsford, a drop in trip could suit Ed Dunlop's filly. The daughter of Soldier Hollow might be more at home on better ground, while Loughville is also noted.
