VERDICT: River Gold bumped into a progressive rival, who has since confirmed the form by winning twice subsequently, when second over 2m at Ludlow, but this looks a good opportunity to get her head in front. The four-year-old arrives here for the powerful Nicky Henderson yard and this opening handicap mark of 110 doesn't appear out of her reach. Isabella Bee is likely to give the selection most to think about, having been eased in the ratings by the handicapper, while Caughtinaspell could be seen to better effect now handicapping.
