VERDICT: Mountain Warrior did well to only be denied by just under a length into second at Carlisle last time and, with a clearer passage, he ought to go close. However, he could come out second best to Spoof, who stayed on well to finish fourth at York last Saturday, faring best of those held up, and the handicapper may have been kind to drop him 2lb for that display. Burning Cash and Jer Batt could also get involved.
