VERDICT: Midair didn't receive much luck in running when fourth at Ascot on his handicap debut and has to warrant plenty of respect on his return to maiden company. That said, he finished second on his three outings prior and the son of Frankel may prove vulnerable to some less-exposed types. Trouville has achieved a decent level of form on both starts so far, but the vote goes to Hajara. Runner-up on debut at Chelmsford, Roger Varian's colt is entitled to have learned plenty from that experience and is taken to go one better now switched to turf.
