VERDICT: Military Girl didn't do herself any favours when slowly into stride on debut at Leicester, but the way she finished her race was highly encouraging, and the third has come out and since won impressively. With normal improvement expected, Michael Dods' youngster can break the maiden at the expense of Harswell Dandy and Sonic Si, who have gone well on all three career outings. Henry's Rose is one to monitor for market support, hailing from a yard that can ready one first time out.
