VERDICT: Trueman is top-rated and comes out best even when the weights are taken into account, but he has been off for almost a year and has never raced on an artificial surface so Poetic Force is probably the safer option. Tony Carroll's veteran hasn't been far away in fourth the last twice and should relish the drop out of handicap company. The same can be said for Smart Deal, who might be the primary threat.
