VERDICT: Iron Heart finished an excellent second over 3m at Bangor before posting a below-par effort at Huntingdon just three days later, but the quick turnaround may have been his undoing on that occasion and better can be expected. Preference, though, is for Ballinsker. Evan Williams' charge put in a front-running exhibition when a game winner over C&D last month and, upped 3lb, another bold showing looks imminent. Steppenwolf is a fascinating contender on his debut for the David Pipe team and he cannot be overlooked lightly.
