VERDICT: A highly-progressive sort last year, Imperial Data returned from a 202-day absence with a decent effort at Hexham when staying on late in the day for fifth. That gave the distinct impression he would enjoy a step up in trip and he gets that opportunity now, with the unexposed Tactical Affair looking best placed to chase him home. Hurricane Ali and Our Laura B cannot be ruled out either.
