VERDICT: Although Mach Ten was beaten by 10 lengths into fourth over an extended 1m4f at Chester last time, it did at least give the impression that he would be suited by a further step up in trip. The Ten Sovereigns gelding is related to a 2m winner, so it would come as no surprise were he to step forward. Ed Bethell can do little wrong at present, so Oh What Fun, who steps up markedly in distance on the back of a 200-day absence, is worth monitoring in the market. Similar comments apply to Candle Wax, but Filibustering might be better equipped.
