VERDICT: Pearl Eye is versatile regarding ground preference and, having started the current campaign with a win and a respectable fourth-placed finish at Pontefract and Chester respectively, the four-year-old has a lot going for him here. Never Ending and Arkendale appeal most from the remainder with a recent run under their belts, but Doha is a filly on the upgrade and is a key player on her handicap debut off a workable mark.
