VERDICT: Racing Demon lost all winning chance in the starting stalls on his penultimate start before bolting up over C&D last week and, judging by the ease of that win, it would be no surprise to see him bring up the double under a 5lb penalty. Lunario fared best of those ridden patiently when finishing an excellent second over an extended mile at Nottingham most recently, and he could be the chief beneficiary if the selection fluffs his lines. Rival was last seen finishing third over C&D and he has solid claims of hitting the frame once again.
