VERDICT: Magical Hill has relished the switch to hurdles, going in at the first time of asking at Huntingdon before handling the step up from 2m with ease when following up over this trip at Kelso. An initial mark of 116 doesn't seem overly harsh and he is worth sticking with. He faces his acid test, though, with the usually-reliable Notnowlinda dangerous on the back of a Hereford second. Kaleb went down by the narrowest of margins at Southwell and is only 2lb higher, while Got Your Back enters the handicap ranks following wind surgery.
