VERDICT: Tigre Rouge (8) has already proven his competitiveness at this level off his current mark and, having finished an encouraging 3rd over 2400m last time, could belatedly double his tally with the aid of his rider's 2kg allowance. Morning Five (3) is another with sound references off his current mark so could pose a threat, while Mykan (7) has regained momentum with each of three comeback appearances this year and is also capable of making his presence felt with Florent Guy engaged to ride. Alabaa (6) completes the shortlist after his recent Chateaubriant success.
