VERDICT: Smart Charger was a strong fancy on his seasonal return/debut run for Alan King at Southwell last month and ran admirably to finish a close second over 1m4f that day. A try over this longer trip now appears a logical move and the four-year-old can reward any faithful supporters by going one place better. Vision Of Hope has won on the all-weather off his current mark and also appeals after a near miss here last time. Philos and Kindgirl complete the shortlist.
