VERDICT: Hard As Nails looks to set the standard in this contest and she is hard to oppose on current form. Fergal O'Brien's charge finished runner-up in a similar contest at Stratford last month, and this two-time bumper winner can earn herself a breakthrough win over timber. Trudie Glen ran with plenty of credit on her bumper debut last spring prior to disappointing when last of four at Catterick in November, but better can be expected on her hurdling bow. Annie Don was too keen for her own good on her Rules debut recently and she can't be overlooked lightly provided she settles better.
