VERDICT: Smouldering produced a big effort to finish second on her introduction at Wolverhampton, despite showing plenty of inexperience, and she could take a sizeable step forward from that display. Clive Cox's filly looks the one to be on, with her main danger possibly newcomer Drumstick, who is related to plenty of winners and it would be no surprise to see him feature on his first outing. Of the remainder, Sedgemoor makes most appeal based on his debut second at Salisbury last year.
