VERDICT: Despite all of his wins here coming over 7f, five-time course winner Uncle Dick could be hard to beat. The top-weight did very well to snatch victory off Otago in the final stride here 20 days ago, having come from further back than ideal, and should be in the shake-up off only a 2lb higher mark. The latter does renew rivalry with the former on better terms, though, and must be respected. Hitched is returning from a 213-day absence but scored at Wolverhampton off 2lb lower when last seen and is worth a second look.
