VERDICT: Villainess didn't give favourite-backers too much to worry about when getting off the mark in a mares' maiden hurdle at Stratford. She could only manage fifth off a 1lb higher mark on her handicap debut at Huntingdon prior to that, but that has turned out to be quite a good race and she could still prove fairly treated. Beauty To Behold chased home her now-stablemate Just Dottie in this 12 months ago and might be the pick of the pair this time. French Highlands is interesting now stepping out of novice company.
