VERDICT: Kioto Sun shaped well on his first start back from an absence when third at Ffos Las in November, splitting two subsequent winners, and it will be no surprise if he can take the gold medal on his return to the track. Point-to-point winner Just Gino made no more than a satisfactory start to life under Rules when fifth at Bangor in December, but better can be expected from him. Haarar is also noteworthy having finished second in a similar contest at Uttoxeter on his last start over timber.
