VERDICT: The Sandy Thomson yard is in good form and this looks like an ideal opportunity for Wolfburg on his handicap debut following a taking success at Catterick in February. The unexposed five-year-old gets the vote ahead of Grivetana, on her first run for a new stable, and Classic Anthem, who should appreciate the drop in grade. A talented mare on her day, Hiconic should enjoy these conditions on her first run of another summer campaign.
