VERDICT: Course specialist Redrosezorro produced a game effort from the front when second over track and trip last time out and he merits respect after a 2lb rise, as does Variety Island, who is now 4lb higher than when winning over C&D last month. However, drawn well in stall four, last year's victor Obee Jo could repeat the feat despite being 3lb higher in the handicap this time around. Others to note include Temper Trap and Rain Cap.
