VERDICT: Naqeeb is interesting if a gelding operation brings about some improvement, but he still needs to find more if he wants get the better of Castle Way. Fourth at Meydan on his return in March before scoping badly after the race and given time to recover, he can hopefully recapture his better form, which includes three wins at Newmarket (two on this course). Time Lock is a classy C&D winner, but it is noted he is yet to win on his first start of the season.
