VERDICT: Deira Mile belied odds of 50-1 when finishing an excellent fourth in the Group 1 Futurity at Doncaster in October and, should all be well ahead of his return, he looks the one to beat. Castle In The Sand, a runner-up on each of his last three starts, looks best placed to take advantage should the selection underperform. St Mungos Park struggled in a warm Newmarket novice on his debut, but he could pick up some minor money in these calmer waters.
