VERDICT: Things appear to have clicked for Bonza Boy of late and he arrives following wins at Exeter and Chepstow. The son of Schiaparelli is now 8lb higher than for the latest of those victories, but he has few miles on the clock over the larger obstacles and is taken to continue his upward trajectory. Pilgrims King must shoulder a 7lb penalty having been on target over C&D six days ago but he merits respect nevertheless, while Lelant makes his fencing bow and is of interest now fitted with a first-time tongue-tie.
