VERDICT: Jackpot Des Bordes justified his expensive price tag when scoring comfortably on his bumper debut at Hereford in November and he should take a step forward from that experience. Paul Nicholls' five-year-old can defy his 7lb penalty before moving onto much tougher assignments. The main threat might be Celtic Dino, who hit the frame in a Listed event at Ascot in December, which is the best form on offer, so he has to be respected. Of the remainder, Kilos Kelos makes the most appeal.
