VERDICT: As the only two currently with an official handicap mark, Mashadi and Celtic Warrior help set a reasonable standard and each commands respect now they have both had a recent spin. With cheekpieces added, the former may be the pick of the pair at this stage. However, Rogue Encore ran promisingly in two starts over 1m for his former yard and can make a flying start for the Peter Chapple-Hyam stable if dropping a furlong prompts a more sustained effort this time.
