VERDICT: Very much an open affair this but it is hard to ignore how well Gys (12) won over course and distance in early-January and, barefoot again, he can repeat provided that Franck Nivard keeps him trotting. Much improved under similar conditions just over 3 weeks ago, Grazy (13) is reunited with Jean-Michel Bazire who will be looking to go closer this time. Good 3rd under the saddle last time out, Gazetta De Lou (4) races shod as she was when winning here last November and must be taken seriously. In form and with Eric Raffin in the wagon, Grec D'havaroche (6) also starts on the front line and is sure to garner support.
