VERDICT: King's Code supplemented a Southwell success at Kempton recently and even with a 5lb penalty to shoulder, David Evans' progressive four-year-old gets the vote to bring up the hat-trick. Dear My Friend, another on a three-timer, will no doubt be popular given his impressive record of three wins from as many starts on artificial surfaces, and he can give the selection most to think about. McLean House, also penalised and arriving on the back of a couple of course triumphs, warrants respect too.
