VERDICT: Lord North was last seen winning his third Dubai Turf in March, on the back of a defeat of Tyrrhenian Sea in this race when it was run over 1m2f at Lingfield, but the extra yardage could test his stamina to the limit and it can pay to side with the less exposed Military Order. Successful the Lingfield Derby Trial last season, the Godolphin four-year-old seemed to be finding his way again when narrowly denied in the trial over C&D. Eydon, off since finishing fourth in the 2000 Guineas of 2022, is a fascinating runner for a new stable.
