VERDICT: First-time blinkers worked the oracle as Feivel made all to win going away over an extended 2m5f at Exeter on New Year's Day and, if the headgear continues to have the same effect, he could well defy a 5lb rise to repeat the dose now upped in trip. Edison Kent pulled up over fences at Fontwell on Boxing Day but he is a big player on the form of his facile hurdles victory off 9lb lower at Fakenham seven days earlier. Top Cloud must be respected in his bid for a hat-trick but a 6lb hike for a head success at Ascot last time leaves him with no margin for error.
