VERDICT: Bonito Cavalo and Royal Prospect were on target in classified company on their latest outing and both merit respect back in a handicap, but the vote goes to Sparkling Spirit. Adrian Keatley's filly was a touch unfortunate not to have finished closer to the principals having met trouble approaching the furlong pole when third at Wolverhampton last time, but a first career success does not look far away on that evidence.
