VERDICT: Aljezur finished well clear of the third when only being denied by a half-length over C&D when last seen in August and he sets a fair standard in this race with a rating of 82. If the son of Galileo Gold is ready to go on his return to action, he could be the one to beat. The main danger is Arctic Thunder, who may have failed to justify favouritism on his debut at Lingfield but he could improve for the step up in distance with that experience under his belt. Any market confidence behind King David would also be of interest.
