VERDICT: A determined winner of a decent contest on his hurdling debut at Chepstow in November, Heros De Romay should have plenty more to come over this longer trip, and the ground should be of no concern either. Lord Of Thunder wasn't for catching here over 2m4f last time out and he must be a leading player, along with Paddy De Pole, who showed a modicum of promise on his Rules debut.
