VERDICT: Summer Night City accounted for his nearest rival by just over three lengths to get off the mark at the second time of asking at Hereford, and he should be thereabouts. However, the vote goes to Virginia Lodge, who took a big step forward from her debut effort to strike in comprehensive fashion at Fakenham last time and could prove more than capable of carrying her 7lb penalty to success. Catboy is worth a market check on his first start over hurdles.
