VERDICT: Abingworth was miles clear of the third when failing to lower the colours of warm favourite Regarde at Huntingdon earlier in the month, but that was an encouraging effort on only his second chase start. The five-year-old could prove difficult to stop in this contest off only a 2lb higher mark. The main threats come from last-time-out winner Famoso, who struck by half a length at Ludlow, and My Rockstar.
