VERDICT: This is the last opportunity for Matterhorn to run in novice company, having won here over further in March, and the five-year-old, who returned with a fluent success over C&D a fortnight ago, is likely to be too strong for the opposition. Go To War was about to challenge when unseating his rider three out at Exeter and may prove the chief threat with a clear round. Ballee shaped with promise when third at Wincanton and is entitled to progress from that display.
