VERDICT: Echoes In Rain finished a neck second in this 12 months ago and is taken to go one better this time. Willie Mullins' charge, a dual Grade 1 winner over hurdles, has ground conditions in her favour and seems to really thrive in these big-field handicaps. Novel Legend is a fascinating British representative as he has yet to perform poorly running over these types of trips and showed a good attitude to win at Goodwood last time, while Dawn Rising has a lot less on his plate than when third in the Irish St. Leger. Tower Of London finished fourth in the St Leger at Doncaster last weekend and, although this is a quick turnaround, it wouldn't be a huge surprise to see him run well.
