VERDICT: Seax made a very pleasing start to his career when second over 6f at Ascot and he appears likely to improve sufficiently to go one better. George Scott's colt was beaten just a length on that occasion and he shaped as if this step up in trip would be a big positive. Cheshire Dancer should also be thereabouts after shedding her maiden tag in game fashion over the extended 7f at Beverley last time, while Alwedad is another to consider with her debut experience under her belt.
