VERDICT: She can occasionally prove a handful but Hemma De Brikvil (9) seldom disappoints when applied and, with stride in check, can secure victory for the first time since May 2021. Twice a winner in her last 3 starts here, Happy Danica (10) remains shod but still looks dangerous. Fully fit by now, and unshod behind for the occasion, Gloria Gwen (8) looks set to get back in the game. Hard to fault when focused, Griotte (6) made a respectable re-entry and the 25m head-start will do her prospects no disservice.
